Aloha,
My name is Kylie Calabrese and I am a photographer from Honolulu, Hawai'i. I have been passionate about taking photos since I bought my first "professional" camera in eighth grade. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a lasting commitment to capturing moments in history that tell a story. I've developed a strong affinity for sports photography; aiming to capture every moment that makes players the athletes they are. I also enjoy the beauty of portrait photography and getting the opportunity to expand my creative mind and turn ideas into reality. Through my lens, I hope to create photographs that not only document the game but also reflect the passion and character behind every person.
I was a member of the yearbook staff throughout my high school career, moving on to become Co-Editor-in-Chief my senior year. It was here that I learned the value of storytelling and is something that I continue to perpetuate. I then spent one year at the University of Redlands acting as all sports photographer and videographer. Wanting something more, I transferred to the University of Oregon and became a creative intern for the football team. Here I spent three seasons, learning, growing, and making meaningful connections that I will hold onto for the rest of my life. I hope to continue making meaningful connections through my work and continue to create new communities that make the workplace feel like a second home.
